Intended for ages four and up, this children's cough medicine requires a different dosage depending on your child's age. Children 4 to under 6 years may take 5 mL every 4 hours, children 6 to under 12 years may take 10 mL every 4 hours and adults and children 12 years and over may take 20 mL every 4 hours, do not take more than 6 doses in any 24-hour period. Measure only with the provided dosing cup. Children under 4 years should not use. Each dose of daytime cough medicine controls and temporarily relieves coughs while also thinning and loosening mucus to provide chest congestion relief.
